LONG-TERM STAYS (3 months or more)
Welcome to Silver City RV Park — your home-away-from-home (with better views and fewer dishes to wash). Below are our most-asked questions, answered clearly and with just enough humor to keep things pleasant.
Location & Contact
OFFICE HOURS
When is the office open?
Monday–Saturday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Sunday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
(Seasonal changes may apply — unlike your GPS, we sometimes reroute.)
Check-In / Check-Out
What time can I check in/out?
Check-in: 12:00 PM. Check-out: 11:00 AM.
Need a wiggle room? Ask nicely — we’ll try to help.
Reservations & Rates
Do I need a reservation?
We recommend it, especially on busy weekends. Walk-ins welcome, but arriving without a reservation is a gamble only thrill-seekers should take.
Cancellation policy?
Cancel at least 7 days before arrival for a refund minus a $10 fee. Cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable. We’re sympathetic, but money doesn’t roast marshmallows.
Weekly/monthly rates?
Yes — longer stays get discounts. Call or check online for current pricing (we sound friendlier over the phone).
Sites & Hookups
What sites do you offer?
Full-hookup pull-through sites for rigs up to 45 ft. From tiny cozy trailers to RVs with more rooms than your first apartment.
Wi-Fi, Restrooms & Laundry
Do you have Wi Fi?
Yes — complimentary and not secure. Great for email, streaming, and humblebrags.
Restrooms & showers?
Yep — clean restrooms and hot showers. “Roughing it” optional.
Laundry?
On-site laundry keeps you smelling like fresh linens, not campfire.
Fishing Pond
Do you have a fishing pond?
Yes — catch-and-release only. Barbless hooks, please. We sell worms (no judgment if your fish story gets bigger).
Need a fishing license?
No — enjoy!
Store & Propane
Is there a store?
Yes — snacks, basics, and “oops I forgot that” items.
Do you sell propane?
Yes — daily until 3:00 PM. Come early unless you enjoy cold coffee.
Pets
Are pets allowed?
Yes — we’re pet-friendly. Keep pets leashed, well-behaved, and picked up after. Your dog’s manners reflect on you.
Any pet restrictions?
Aggression and nonstop barking aren’t allowed. If your pet is friendlier than most people, they’ll fit right in.
Campfires, Quiet Hours & Safety
Are campfires allowed?
Yes — in designated pits with covers when local conditions allow. S’mores encouraged; reckless fire dancing discouraged.
Quiet hours?
10:00 PM – 7:00 AM. Stargaze, whisper, or pretend you went to bed early.
Mail & Packages
Can I receive packages?
Yes — please include your name and site number.
What about USPS letter mail?
Short-term guests: no letter mail delivery. Long-term guests: yes, with a mailbox ($25 refundable deposit).
Visitors & Vehicles
Can I have visitors?
Yes — visitors must check in at the office and follow park rules.
How many vehicles per site?
Typically one RV + one additional vehicle. Extra vehicles may need prior approval.
Local Area & Seasons
Any attractions nearby?
Plenty — outdoor recreation, dining, and beautiful scenery. Stop by the office for our favorite local tips.
Is the park open year-round?
Yes — though availability varies by season.

Do you accept long-term guests?
Yes — we love community members.
Application process?
All adults (18+) complete a background and credit check.
RV requirements?
RVs must be 20 years old or newer and in good condition. Sorry, fixer-uppers need not apply.
Rates, Deposits & Utilities
How does billing work?
Rent due monthly on a set date.
Is electricity included?
No — electricity is metered and billed based on usage.
Security deposit?
$100 refundable deposit.
Additional refundable deposits:
Mailbox: $25
100-gallon propane tank: $75
Long-Term Amenities & Responsibilities
What’s included?
Full hookups, Wi Fi, laundry, clubhouse, gym, pool & hot tub, fishing pond, playground, dog wash, convenience store.
Mail & forwarding?
Mail and packages accepted. Mailbox required for USPS letter mail. We do not forward mail — update your address or collect extra souvenirs.
Site upkeep & community expectations?
Long-term guests must keep sites tidy, weeded, and respectful of neighbors. Notify the office if you’ll be away for an extended time.
Switching Stays
Can I switch from short-term to long-term?
Possibly, depending on availability. Let us know and we’ll work with you.
